During the winter months you can indulge in the pleasure of snow and winter sports. There is a number of different possibilities: Ice skating, cross country skiing, sledging, or simply taking a nice walk in the winter wonder land. If you like skiing, there is a small skiing area in the village of Terenten. For the more passionate skier we recommend the well known ski circuit Kronplatz, which can be reach quite easily by car (half an hour drive) or with the free ski bus (shuttle stop 200 mt from our house).
In the vicinity of about 20 km you can also find a few smaller skiing areas, like Gitschberg, Jochtal, Plose or Speikboden.
